Ultrasound gives you the opportunity to appreciate the anatomical relations of the facial structures. It clearly depicts bone as a white line. deposition of fillers at a periostal level is possible at a unprecidented level. Also foraminal locations are possible to dicriminate .Muscels and fat are easily separated. Vessels are discernible and using doppler flow in the vessels is shown. Finally the other structures like salivary glands, lymphe nodes and cuteneous structures like granulomatous reations, lipoma and atheroma cysts are easy pointed out.
The course uses illustrations to illustrate anatomical relations that may be encountered when using ultrasound
When using ultrasound anatomical structures can be clearly depicted which prevents the occurence of complications
During the course models assist the participants to explore the anatomy using ultrasound but also the visualisation of fillers in these models.
